The Farm

Salt Rose Farm has been owned by the Peterson family since 1946. Over seven decades we have cherished gatherings. This farm, and its cove, has been the home of naval architects and artists whose work has benefited from a unique sense of place and association with nature. The orientation of the property blends ocean and river with sunrise and moon set; winds and colors are in constant motion, farm animals and wildlife freely move with time and tide. In the last five years the farm has evolved to increased numbers in attendance with improvements made for accessibility, convenience, and enjoyment of guests. We are now expanding the venue to share with others because the activities have been great fun and made for wonderful connections of past and future. We look forward to sharing our history and the enduring feeling of warmth and well being that this treasured harbor offers in the worst of storms and in the most joyous of times.
